Partnerships
Vibrant Comedy Journal considers collaborations that fit its subject and leave editorial judgement intact. Use the Contact page to describe the proposal, its purpose and any support or payment involved.
Possible collaborations
We may consider clearly scoped projects such as an event-related explainer, a conversation about comic craft or a reader-facing resource relevant to comedy. A proposal should name its intended audience, format, timing and any material the partner would provide. We do not imply that a collaboration will be accepted.
Partner placements
Relevant partner placements may appear across the site where they suit the page and reader. Any paid or otherwise supported placement is labelled clearly at the point of display, and its wording remains distinguishable from editorial coverage. We do not accept placements that depend on undisclosed payment or editorial endorsement.
Editorial boundaries
Partners cannot buy a favourable article, dictate an independent conclusion or approve editorial coverage before publication. We may decline proposals that do not fit the subject, obscure who is responsible for a message or ask readers to mistake promotion for independent editorial work.
A laugh deserves a closer look
We examine what a comic choice asks of its audience, and what it gives back. No formula guarantees a laugh; the details are where the interest lies.
